In-Person Peer Support Groups

We hold in-person peer support groups in locations around the country, currently including Cork, Dublin and Limerick, giving patients and family members a chance to meet face to face.

Next meeting: Vienna Woods Hotel, Cork — Friday 4 September 2026, 10.30am.

Dates and venues are announced on our Facebook and Instagram pages and in our newsletter. If you would like to help us start a group in your area, please email support@sarcoma.ie — we are actively looking to bring groups to new parts of the country.

Patient Information Day

Our annual Patient Information Day brings together patients, families, carers, healthcare professionals and researchers for a day of expert talks, practical guidance and connection. It is co-hosted with the Irish Sarcoma Group and usually held during Sarcoma Awareness Month in July.

The 2026 event took place on Saturday 18 July 2026 at the Maldron Hotel, Merrion Road, Dublin 4. Details of the 2027 event will be published here and announced to our mailing list.

Before You Come

If it is your first time, it is completely normal to feel nervous. Email support@sarcoma.ie beforehand and we will tell you exactly what to expect, who will be there and how the session runs. Nobody is ever asked to speak.
