Angela Wallace is a founding board member of Sarcoma Cancer Ireland. She retired from a career of more than 30 years in the forestry sector, where she specialised in environmental protection and biodiversity.
Angela’s son Lee died from pelvic sarcoma. Out of that loss came her determination to help build an organisation that would give other patients and families the support and information she had struggled to find. She has been part of Sarcoma Cancer Ireland since the very beginning and is a driving force behind our fundraising.
Outside her work with the charity, Angela is a keen gardener and a devoted grandmother who spends as much time as she can with her family.
