SHINING A LIGHT ON SARCOMA

Donate

Every service we provide is funded by donations from the public. We receive no money from the Government or the HSE. Our board members and volunteers are unpaid, so the money you give goes directly into support for people affected by sarcoma.

What Your Donation Does

€25 – helps cover the cost of a support group session for a patient or family member.

€60 – funds a one-to-one counselling session with an accredited psychotherapist.

€100 – sends our GP information flyer to around 100 GP practices, helping more doctors recognise sarcoma early.

€500 – provides a full Patient Support Grant to a newly diagnosed patient, covering travel, heating, food or whatever is causing the most pressure.

In 2024 alone, donations funded 56 patient grants of €500, 77 counselling sessions and 14 support groups. In 2025 that grew to 68 grants and 148 counselling sessions.

Ways to Give

One-off donation – give securely online by card in a few clicks. Choose your own amount.

Monthly donation – a regular gift, from as little as €5 a month, is the most valuable kind of support we receive. It lets us plan services and commit to counselling and grants with confidence.

Bank transfer – Account name: Sarcoma Ireland. IBAN: IE35BOFI90069092480143. BIC: BOFIIE2D. Bank of Ireland, Sutton Cross, Dublin 13. Please use your name as the reference and email info@sarcoma.ie so we can thank you.

iDonate – donate or set up a fundraising page at idonate.ie/cause/SarcomaCancerIreland.

In memory – many families ask for donations in lieu of flowers, or fundraise on an anniversary. We are always honoured to be chosen, and we will help you set it up.

A gift in your will – a legacy gift costs nothing today and can support patients for years to come. Email info@sarcoma.ie for a confidential conversation.

Make Your Donation Worth More — At No Cost to You

Under the Charitable Donation Scheme, if you are a taxpayer in the Republic of Ireland and you donate €250 or more in a calendar year, we can claim additional tax relief on your gift. A donation of €250 can be worth around €112 more to us, and it costs you nothing extra. All we need is a completed CHY3 form, which we will send to you. Our CHY number is 23130.

Corporate Giving

If you are donating on behalf of a company, or your employer operates a matched-giving scheme, see our Corporate Partnerships page or email info@sarcoma.ie.

Your Donation is Safe

Online payments are processed securely by trusted payment providers and we never store your full card details. We will never sell or share your details. You will receive a receipt, and you can choose whether or not to hear from us again.

Thank You

Sarcoma Cancer Ireland exists because people who had been through it decided nobody else should face it alone. Every donation keeps that promise.
