Support Line
Our Support Line is free and confidential, and is answered by trained volunteers with personal experience of sarcoma. You can call or send a WhatsApp message.

Through the Support Line you can speak with someone who listens, get clear and reliable information, ask questions no matter how small, and take things at your own pace. Outside these hours, send us a message or an email and we will come back to you.

For Healthcare Professionals
We welcome referrals from consultants, clinical nurse specialists, GPs, medical social workers and allied health professionals. There is no formal referral form and no waiting list for most of our services.
To refer a patient or family member, email support@sarcoma.ie with the patient’s name and contact details, and confirmation that they have agreed to be contacted by us. We will make contact directly and talk them through what is available — counselling, support groups, the Support Line and financial grants.
For the Patient Support Grant, the application form includes a short section to be completed and stamped by a consultant oncologist, oncology clinical nurse specialist, GP or hospital social worker. Patients return the completed form themselves to grants@sarcoma.ie.
We also supply our GP information flyer, Diagnosing Sarcoma: A Guide for GPs, free of charge. It is available to download from this website, and printed copies can be posted to any practice or clinic in Ireland on request — just email info@sarcoma.ie with the practice address and the number of copies you need.
