This page explains what cookies are, how we use them on sarcoma.ie and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences and to give site owners information about how their website is being used.
How we use cookies
We use cookies to:
- Make the website work properly, including keeping items in your basket and processing donations securely.
- Remember your cookie preferences so you are not asked every time you visit.
- Understand how visitors find and use the site, so we can improve it.
We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell any information collected through cookies.
The cookies we use
Our cookie banner is managed by CookieYes, which keeps an up-to-date list of every cookie used on the site, grouped as Necessary, Functional, Analytics, Performance and Advertisement. Necessary cookies are always active because the site cannot function without them. All other categories are off until you choose to turn them on.
The current live list includes WordPress session cookies, the CookieYes consent cookie, the WPForms form cookie, and Google Analytics (GA4) cookies _ga and _ga_*.
Managing your preferences
You can change your choices at any time using the “Consent Preferences” button on any page of the site. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work as expected if you do.
